At Zamlinx, experience has taught us that no load is ever the same, therefore we design solutions that address clients’ specific requirements. Efficient communication with clients is our key to service excellence.
All cargo received into our warehouse is handled and controlled from receipt by ourselves to delivery into Zambia. This department is tightly controlled by our operations and warehouse staff with a staff contingent of 26 staff, all highly trained and experienced on the Zambian route with vast knowledge of the transport and clearing industry into Zambia. Their loading experience amounts to approximately 21000 tonnes of containerised and break-bulk cargo into Zambia per annum.
We have a policy in force at Zamlinx that no goods are to be despatched until adequate export packing has been undertaken either by the supplier or by ourselves. This alleviates the problem of goods being received in Zambia in a damaged condition.
Tracking is e-mailed to the supplier, consignee and agent in Zambia daily therefore keeping all parties concerned up to speed with the movement of the cargo and the expected date of arrival at destination. All paperwork is scanned and e-mailed to the Zambian clearing agent on despatch of a load allowing the preparation of entries to facilitate speedy clearing once a vehicle arrives at Chirundu/Livingstone border posts.
