Express Service
We opened our long awaited Express Service on the 4th of March 2019
We have loaded 63 express loads since opening to the end of July 2019, an average of 3 express loads per week.
Our average transit time for these express loads from dispatch to offloading is between 6 to 7 days depending on clearance in Zambia via Chirundu.
We are, needless to say thrilled with these times and will continue pushing to better these transit times as the service progresses.
All express vehicles are enclosed vehicles and close contact is maintained with the drivers by our office in Johannesburg,
All vehicles are sealed from dispatch and if any physical inspection is undertaken by Customs at either Beit bridge or Chirundu, the unit is
resealed at the specific border with customs, agent and driver present. Photographs are taken of the process and the new seal showing the seal number is sent to management immediately after it has been replaced. This process decreases any risks while in transit.
